Invited Talk

Kim Conrey and I will be talking about romance in books and life at this A Novel Idea event.

I'll be on a panel discussing critique groups and helping workshopping participants in a critique group session.

I will discuss my experiences reading and writing historical fiction (including Hardscrabble Road, Return to Hardscrabble Road, and The Five Destinies of Carlos Moreno) at this free event, open to the public.

I'll be discussing the importance of telling our stories and how I've helped others do this through my personal service and through the Atlanta Writers Club

Kim and I will be doing an hour-long local author talk for Perimeter Adult Learning Services (PALS) participants.

I'll participate on a panel about the epidemic of book banning in America, sponsored by the National Council of Jewish Women.

Forsyth County Public Library, Sharon Forks Library Branch, is having a Community Author Showcase, and I am the keynote speaker for a talk about the importance of finding a writing group to support and critique writers as they develop in their craft.
